Client Privacy is our Objective

Borrower data is protected by our:

• policies and procedures regarding the responsible handling of your information
• restricting internal access to non-public borrower information
• preventing unauthorized access to borrower data through the use of data encryption and user authentication technology
• requiring vendors working with Village Capital & Investment to follow privacy laws
• internal monitoring of security tools and their application

Information Collection and Use
To fund your loan, meet state and federal compliance regulations and better serve your financial needs Village Capital & Investment collects and maintains non-public borrower data. This information includes but is not limited to:

• information provided by you to us on loan applications and other forms (including your name, home address, home and cellular telephone numbers, Social Security number and account numbers, financial asset information, income information and employment information);
• information about your business transactions with us
• information about your credit profile as provided by a credit reporting agency
• information about you and your property as provided by industry vendors and resources (including property appraisal reports, real estate purchase contracts and documents)

Limited Information Sharing with Third Parties
Some of the information that you provide to us may be disclosed to third parties (credit reporting agencies, state regulators and industry investors).  The third parties are required to keep borrower information confidential and they are not permitted to use the information for any other reason than to facilitate in helping us provide the agreed upon services to you.
